Amateur turned professional turned expert, Emanuele went through 50 shades of malt and hops. He now shares his expertise with passion.
Emanuele Corazzini, the one-man band behind NovaBirra, caught the craft beer bug while living in Brooklyn, USA. Hooked by the weekly tastings at the legendary Brooklyn Brewery, he started homebrewing for kicks in the early 2000s in his tiny New York kitchen.
Back in Belgium in 2002, he joined the founding team of the renowned Bruxellensis Festival in Saint-Gilles. In 2011, he took the plunge and brewed his first beer, Big Mama Stout, as a gypsy brewer. Over time, he earned his stripes at De Ranke Brewery, and now offers—besides his brewing gig—guided tastings, homebrewing courses, and consulting for aspiring brewers ready to dive into the brewing adventure.
His beers strike a balance between Belgian character and innovative twists drawn from all corners of Emanuele's eclectic experience.
Cheers!
